20 years have passed and the years have just flown by. In 2005 we met by chance at a film premiere in Sala where we were both acting. We quickly packed our belongings and pretty soon we started planning for Leffe’s dream – to start a moose park. We started by building the first enclosure in the winter of 2005/2006. We decided that it would be a big project, so we hired professional builders from Roslagen (By the way, Leffe has his roots from there, so he’s a real rospigg and Ilona is a farm girl from Härnevitrakten outside Enköping). The enclosure got its first moose in September 2006, Gunde and Göta. The following year we inaugurated the park with pomp and circumstance, it was a big day for us. Then the years have rolled on with lots of nice meetings, with fantastic people in the park, (a Christmas table with moose viewings), moose viewing in the dark, company events, log dancing, building an elf museum…and opening a café – just a few of what has happened over the years. It has been fantastic years of building the park together to what it is today.

Now we are living our dream!
