The cheerful, humorous, positive and easy-going friend from across the forest who made a splash in the ice racing world with his outside smokers and cornering moves so that his shoulder dragged in the ice, hence the name Ryssen.

After his career, he built his own ice racing track at home on his farm where he arranged many competitions for his club Funbo MK.

John “Ryssen” Fredriksson can boast an impressive track record. He has won an individual Swedish Championship gold medal and in the team he has won 1 World Championship silver medal and a World Championship bronze medal. His achievements in ice racing have made him one of the most prominent and respected drivers in the sport.

John “Ryssen” Fredriksson has left his mark on the ice racing world with his unique racing style and commitment to the sport. His successes and passion for ice racing will live on in history, and he will always be a legendary figure in motorsport. He is well worthy of the 2023 Hedershorn.
